Corey Layton’s Road To Recovery: Life After COVID-19

We are so pleased to announce that with the help of our customers and friends we were able to raise $1,000 for Corey Layton!

We could not have done this without you.???????? #AgentsOfChange

Here at Fargo Insurance Group, helping our clients find the best coverage is not the only thing we’re passionate about. We believe in giving back to our community, especially during these difficult times. When we first heard about our local community member, Corey Layton, and his battle against COVID-19, we knew that there had to be a way to bring the community together and help.

During late March, Corey Layton was one of the first diagnosed cases in the Jefferson/Berkeley County area. With no procedures in place, Corey was immediately quarantined at a motel for 14 days. On March 29th, his condition grew worse as he developed pneumonia and was placed in a medically induced coma leaving him on a ventilator for 10 days.

After 30 days of struggle and isolation, prayers were answered and he was released from the hospital after finally testing negative. However, there is still a long road to recovery. Upon release Corey was unable to walk unassisted and swallow solid foods. He currently experiences restricted movement, memory loss, and nerve damage. He will have ongoing physical/chiropractic therapies three times a week.

That is why we are very thrilled to announce our newest campaign to support Corey Layton. When you recommend a friend or family member to us for a no-obligation quote, we pledge to donate $10 to Corey Layton’s COVID-19 relief. Yes, and that is for EACH friend. What do you say? Are you ready to make a difference?
